Build a monster-busting stronghold
Galactic Dorm is a free top-down game that combines hide-and-seek with resource management. Your task is to survive an attack by a deadly monster, a job that involves not only hiding but also building enough defences to ensure that your hiding place remains secure.
The game has a similar visual style to Among Us, along with its many imitators, such as Huggy Hide 'N Seek Playtime. The presence of character skins allows you to give your character a new persona, from Iron Man to Pikachu.
Hide from the monster
A Galactic Dorm mission will begin in a building that will soon be attacked by a rampaging monster. Your first job is to pick one of the rooms in which to hide. There, your character will begin tapping at a computer, earning gold tokens. These tokens can be spent on weapons and defences.
Build and upgrade
Various different tools can be built. For example, the gun fires shots at the monster, the repair machine will automatically repair damage to your door, and the soldier portal will create CPU-controlled soldiers to help fight the monster. All of these can be upgraded, as can the door to your room, but you'll need to keep earning tokens for this.
Unlock characters
The various unlockable characters have their own attributes. For example, Iron Man has better firepower, while Billionaire can earn money at a faster rate. No matter which character you choose, the other options will join you in the fight. Watch out — the monster gains a level every time an ally is killed.
Slow resources
Galactic Dorm has a lot to offer, but there's one detail to watch out for — obtaining resources is very slow. Many weapons require power, which is obtained by building a costly solar generator. The hard truth is that the fastest way to earn resources is through in-app purchases.
